Why Facebook, and a blog, and a main website? Well, it's not as redundant as it seems.
- The main site, dhsclassof87reunion.com, which we started to coordinate our 20th reunion, gives us a virtual meetingplace to keep contacts and manage future events.
- Facebook is a dynamic site, and joining the our class group there will allow you to know when there are updates posted in more detail on the other sites.
- And the blog is something you can just stop in and see if there is "news" about our classmates or our class itself (just like you are doing now).
The main reason we have multiple presences on the web is to make it easy for our classmates to find each other, without having to pay for membership on an alumni site. Also, no one wants to be pestered with a million emails about things happening for our alumni, so having these three options gives you a way to stay in touch when you feel like it.
